A Hail Damage Example and work on a Stone Mountain home
The picture of hail damage above was part of an insurance certification package for a client. You can see how difficult it would be to detect that kind of damage from ground level. Even this apparently small damage can seriously compromise a roof. This was from golf ball sized hail and damaged the underlayment beneath the shingle. Even pea sized hail can knock off the granules covering a shingle, subjecting it to ultraviolet rays which will severely shorten the life of the shingle.
